Stellar offers a Modular Chiller Plant Solution called Plug and Chill®. The Plug and Chill® modular chiller plant is based upon a “Plug and Play” design concept whereby all chiller plant components are skid mounted and enclosed and put together like Legos® at the site to match the required chilled water demand.
The Plug and Chill Modular Chiller Plant is the next generation chilled water plant. It integrates proven chilling technology, efficient systems design and state-of-the art controls to produce and distribute chilled water in the most energy efficient and cost effective way.
The Plug and Chill Modular Chiller Plant is designed for maximum flexibility while utilizing standard building blocks to minimize engineering and construction costs.
The Plug and Chill Modular Chiller Plant operates like traditional “stick-built” or “field-erected” plants and has the same or similar equipment, however the major differences are in shortened construction schedule, lower capital and operating cost, better construction quality, greater flexibility and comprehensive risk mitigation. These differences make the modular plant a better choice.
